Kate Eckhardt

Physiotherapist

Kate is passionate about helping people reach their optimal function and achieve their goals through exercise prescription, manual therapy, and education. She enjoys treating a wide variety of conditions but has a special interest in sports injuries, especially rock climbing and kayaking related injuries.

Kate has experienced several injuries requiring rehabilitation to return to her sports. This has given her an intimate understanding of this process and what it can take, resulting in a passion to help guide patients on their journey back to sport or activity.

Outside of work Kate is an elite athlete in the sport of Canoe Slalom, which she completed in the 2022 world championships. Kate has been involved in elite sport from a young age which has inspired her to support people to reach their best physical function, whether that be high level sport or completing daily activities.

On weekends you might find her kayaking down the local rivers, running on bush tracks, or rock climbing.
